Team Up
Align with my team to review priorities and pending tasks.
Prioritise
Identify the most urgent tasks alone or with my team.
Benchmark
Research competitors, trends, and new use cases.
Research
Analyze the interface, gather user insights, and ask questions.
Components
Find new components and adapt or reuse existing ones.
Sketch
Explore ideas freely, testing logic without constraints.
Wireframe
Structure content using the company’s grid and blocks.
Low Fi
Add real data to visualize actual usage.
Team check
Review with the product lead to refine requirements.
Hi Fi
Build the flow with real design elements.
Refine
Test with my team, adjusting as needed.
Develop
Clarify any questions with our developers.
Testing and observation
Validate the implementation and gather feedback.
Iteration
Improve continuously based on priorities.
Design Thinking
As a creative I’ve always use this methodology because it’s the one that gives me more freedom for trial and error, usually because of the rush of finishing
or delivering a quick solution I find myself in the position to rush a solution, but I know have the opportunity to iterate and keep enhancing it.
Research & Discovery
Conducting user interviews, competitive analysis, and persona creation to ground designs in real user needs.
Ideation & Sketching
Brainstorming and sketching to conceptualize and refine user flows and feature structures.
Design & Testing
Building prototypes and incorporating feedback iteratively.
Delivery & Iteration
Finalizing designs, handoff to development, and collecting user feedback for continuous improvement.
Agile
As a creative this methodology provides me a structured, iterative approach to deliver solutions, ensuring that my creative ideas are grounded in practicality and can be implemented incrementally
Iterative Progress
Breaking my design process into smaller, manageable chunks that align with sprint timelines.
Collaboration
Working closely with cross-functional teams (developers, product owners, etc.) to ensure alignment and shared understanding.
User-Centricity
Keeping the focus on user needs by continuously testing and refining designs based on feedback.
Adaptability
Being open to change and use feedback to pivot or adjust designs as needed.
Kanban
This methodology helps me keep the design process clear, adaptable, efficient, and focused on improvement.
Visibility
Tracking progress of Research & Discovery, Ideation & Sketching, Design & Testing, and Delivery & Iteration in one place.
Flexibility
Adapting to changes, like shifting focus during Ideation & Sketching or incorporating feedback in Design & Testing.
Efficiency
Limiting ‘WIP’ to avoid bottlenecks during prototyping or handoff to development in Delivery & Iteration.
Continuous Improvement
Using feedback loops to refine processes, like improving user interviews in Research & Discovery or iterating designs in Design & Testing.
